~Mir Movement shares the story of Medjugorje and encourages people to work for peace.~
I founded Mir Movement in 2004 following my pilgrimage to Medjugorje.
I went to Medjugorje to ask Mother Mary's help in discerning my call to the priesthood.
I returned with a new mission in mind: spreading Our Lady's message of peace.
For the next year and a half, I delivered presentations about Medjugorje to schools
and Church groups on a part-time basis.
In 2006, I decided to walk across Canada to promote peace, Mir Movement and Medjugorje.
This initiative was called "10 Million Steps for Peace."
For the next 13 months, I planned and promoted - with the help of many volunteers
-my walk.
On April 1, 2007, I set out walking from Vancouver, BC. Six weeks later, the walk
was discontinued due to lack of funding.
The next 10 months were spent reorganising Mir Movement (see Hey,
what happened to the "old" Mir Movement).
Today I am on the road sharing the story of Medjugorje (see Walking
and talking).
