2008 cross-Canada Walk-n-talk

    1-year Anniversary Letter
Walking through Saskatchewan

What can I say? Despite the disappointment of "10 Million Steps for Peace" (my first attempt at a cross-Canada walk) there remained in me a strong desire to get out there and share the story of Medjugorje and encourage "peace, peace, peace - and only peace!". So, that’s what I did.

On April 1, 2008, I set out from Vancouver, BC en route to Halifax (well, I was originally headed to St. John's, but you will have to read my journal to find out why that changed).

Along the way, I shared the story of Medjugorje with, and encouraged "peace, peace, peace - and only peace!" to, the people that crossed my path.

I also offered up the entire experience in prayer for peace.

Even if I had 6 months of your undivided attention, I don't know that I could begin to put into perspective what an experience this was: the obstacles I faced, the people I met, the lessons I learned, the highs and lows I experienced...these unequivocally, inexplicably and irreversibly blew my mind.

I often tell people that I wish I could download the entire experience from my brain to theirs because only in that way could they appreciate what happened during this walk. Obviously, I can't do that...the best I can do is provide a whole bunch of information and pray that the Holy Spirit will ensure that you take from this journey whatever befits you.
